Issue

The sentence "A RedBox could in principle also implement a TC, but this is not recommended." is based on an equivalent sentence in IEC 62439-3:2016. However, the TC related recommendation was intentionally removed in the new edition of IEC 62439-3 which will be published soon.
Therefore, the recommendation in 90-4 is unreasonable and should be removed.

Proposal

Replace

"The RedBoxes can implement a BC. A RedBox could in principle also implement a TC, but this
is not recommended."

with

"The RedBoxes can implement a BC or a TC."

This is correct. At the time 90-4 was published, no company had build a RedBox with a TC 04 Mar 21 Accepted
In case the IEC 62439-3 new edition is in the state of a FDIS, we should accept the proposal and improve the text accordinly. 03 Mar 21 Accepted
