1439   GI is not optional in BRCB/URCB

Clause: Annex A

Paragraph: Table A.2

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

The entries M7 and M8 define the support of BRCB and URCB. The sub-entries define partly the support of OptFlds, but also BufTm, IntgPd and GI. But GI is mandatory. So there should be no choise in M7-10 and M8-8 if GI is supported or not.

Proposal

I suggest to define the sub-entries with "O" for Optional but with "M" for GI for Server. Not sure if this is also valid for Clients?

Also it helps to state "OptFlds" in the comments for all optional fields entries (see attached example).

accepted to enhance the PICS definition.
The PICS have been updated to the attachement Tissue_1439_ACSI models conformance statement accordingly in 7-2 Ed2.1.

GI is already mandatory per tissue 1202.

I recommend to specify the optFlds as mandatory supported as soon as the SCL Services.ReportSettings is conf or dyn.

if the SCL Service.ReportSettings is fix - then at least GI shall be supported.
