1055 EntryTime never used in 9-2
Created: 22 Mar 2013
Status: In Force (green)
Part: Part 9-2 (2011; Edition 2)
Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part
"EntryTime" (48 bit time representation in ASN.1 with an epoch of 1984) is used exclusively for log entries, never in 9-2. It could confuse users since the timestamps are transmitted as TimeStamp (64 bits, epoch of 1970).
Remove EntryTime reference in Table 15

||In Force (green)
Table 15 needs to be updated to include missing basic types.
|19 Aug 15
the purpose of table 15 is to provide an encoding rule for each basic type.
entry time is also a basic type. removing it will probably lead to a tissue: entryTime type is missing - add it!
Therefore I'm not in favour of removing it.
Maybe add a rule for currency reflecting TISSUE 1047
