Discussion Created Status

Change in the attachment: The feedback of ANCR.ColPos is the position of the coil (if available). If the position of the coil is not available the mxVal is irrelevant (acc. to the CDC APC it has the presence condition AC_ST). 07 Feb 13 Ballot Period
The tissue will be discussed in the next editors meeting (WG10 meeting in Mexico). 25 Jan 13 Future Improvement
I think the proposed text for the ANCR.ColPos is not consistent. The LN ANCR has three options to set the coil position: Changing it as a discrete tap position either directly to the poistion or with a higher / lower command and finaly with a analog control to a continuous coil position. In the first two cases, the return information is not the setpoint, but the current position of the coil. This should be consistent for the third option.

Also, it should e explained what the discrete position means. Is it a "usually as current in Amper" as explained for ColPosA? What does "usually" mean for a standard?
