Clause: 5.11.3, 5.11.4

Paragraph:

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

It is stated that additional measuring points shall be added by numbered extension of the data. That approach is not practicable because it results in a complete multiplication of all data (another measuring point is a different sensor with different name plate and health, etc.).

Proposal

Modify text and request to use a different instance of the LN SIMG (SIML)

Discussion Created Status
If the addtional measuring point is allocated to the same IED the extension rule as stated in 7-4 is valid. Otherwise, it has to be a new instance of SIMG in a new LD/IED. New IEDs needs always a different name plate, health etc. Clarification by an editorial change needed, not a new process monitoring appraoch. 02 Apr 05 In Force (green)
Should be solved via new process monitoring approach. 15 Mar 05 In Force (green)
