Issue

"In part 7-3 there is a description of vector (6.10), what is used for the three-phase values. Here the mag is mandatory, the ang is optional." In the same device/system, Can I use vector in some case with ang attribute, and in other case notwith ang attribute? e.g. In a MMXU, for the vector of PhV,A notwith ang attribute, and the vector of Z with ang attribute? I think that the use would be easy made confusion(especially in receivers). I suggest that ang attribute of vector is defined as mandatory, for the vector only with mag attribute is pigeonholed to MV/AnaglogueValue.

Yes, you can use within an MMXU a vector type V1 without angle for PhV and A, and a vector type V2 with angle for Z. You have to consider that the definitions in 7-3 are class definitions. If you describe a real system e.g. with SCL, then you have to define types, and there can be several types based on the same class. Clients know by looking at the type definitions exactly what is in a data structure and what not. 28 Sep 05 Not Applicable
