Issue

The standard does not explicitly state the obvious requirement that a server presents services at exactly one revision of the standard, therefore all ldNs must inherit from the same namespaces.

Perhaps it could be argued to make the distinction at the server, but IED seems more reasonable.

Proposal

Change first bullet in the list from

"whole logical device"

to

"whole physical device"

In a 80-6 gateway environment, a IEC 61850-7-2:GenServer is using a single basic name space for its own LDevice resp. Objects as well as for the proxies LDevices resp. proxied objects.

All Logical Devices of a IEC 61850-7-2:GenServer will implement the same basic namespace.
