Paragraph: Table A.1

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

Unit 'Mass' is measured in kilograms in the Table A.1 of the Annex A while there is Table A.5 having Multiplier kilo. It can apply to SIUnit 'Mass' and Value will be 'kilokilogram' as example.

Proposal

'Mass' is measured in grams as default and to solve that issue measuring unit need to change to gram (g).

Discussion Created Status
No.
The basis for mass is the kilogram, regardless of its name.
(it originated from the former measuring system cgs)
The multiplier is 1 for 1 kilogram, 10**3 for one ton.
Treat "kilogram" as a noun, not as a multiple of gram.
