Clause: 5.9.3, 5.9.4, 5.9.5

Paragraph:

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

There is some inconsistent overlapping of ATTC and AVCO. Also, there is no split in ATTC between the control part (more or less a voltage controler)and the tap changer as such as we have it e.g. for circuit breakers (control CSWO, breaker XCBR). The ARCO is doing more a less the same for reactive control. The control should allow both step changes and continuous changes as already mentioned in CDC BSC.

Proposal

Proposal is to rework these three Logical Nodes to consider these topics to get really usable data models. Detailed proposal will follow.

With regard of the split of the tap changer controller and the tap changer part, is this not achieved with ATTC and YLTC?

Rework may be considered in the context of the modeling with the new WGs 17 and 18.
