Clause: Annex B2

Paragraph: B.2

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

Text states that:

<DA name="t" bType="Timestamp" fc="SR" desc="TimeStamp of the completion of the service. If the instance of
the CDC is logged or reported using the buffered reporting model, t shall be identical to the EntryTime of the associated Entry."

"t" cannot be identical to EntryTime, which has another representation. Also, they apply to two different times: time of completion of service and time of transmission.

Also, it is not allowed to put "shalls" in the code, even if the Clause is normative.

Proposal

Change the description to:

<DA name="t" bType="TimeStamp" fc="SR" desc="Timestamp of the completion of the service. If the instance of
the CDC is logged or reported using the buffered reporting model, t corresponds to the EntryTime of the associated Entry."

Proposal not accepted, however, the definition - as already corrected in the UML model - is only
"TimeStamp of the completion of the service."

I disagree with the proposal.
Table 25 introducing the attribute t of the CST CDC defines t as being the "TimeStamp of the completion of the service." Not less, not more.
The EntryTime used while logging or reporting the instance of the CDC is a totaly independant issue since an Entry may gather the change of several FCDs.
The EntryID and EntryTime are associated to an entry and the use of BufTm control block attribute in reporting and logging will lead to gathering changes during the BufTm window. Therefore the instance of the CDC (and its t) may be gathered with other previous changes of other FCDs that lead to the BufTm start.

I would propose to remove everywhere in the SCL definition of the tracking CDC, the text
"If the instance of the CDC is logged or reported using the buffered reporting model, t shall be identical to the EntryTime of the associated Entry."

since it is not garanted!

However the description "TimeStamp of the completion of the service." is correct.
