Issue

From UML Model discussion / late German comments
It looks like "ANSI short time inverse" and "ANSI long time inverse" caracteristics are missing.

Proposal

Add them. Might it be that characteristic #8 "Long time inverse" should be "ANSI long time inverse?

Agreed to deprecate (not empty) the mentioned enums for revision 2.1. Add to the remaining ones the standard IEC 60255-151 (on which the characteristics are based). 11 Nov 13 Ballot Period
I would like to change back the state to red because there are still some questions open about different curves. Soon I come with a entry. 25 Oct 13 Discussion (red)
Cross-checking carefully the Curve Characteristics (CurveCharKind in UML notation)table regarding the suggested extension by two curves results in the following:
1) There exist only 6 inverse overcurrent curves (3 for ANSI/IEEE and 3 for IEC) plus the definite time curves (identical for ANSI and IEC). These curves are all given in IEC 60255-151 (2009-08).All other curves are only produced by a time multiplier i.e. the DO TmMult in PTOC. The time multiplier values are not standardized. Therefore, all other curves cannot be identified by a single number and have to be taken out of the table. Therefore, the list should look like as
1 / ANSI Extremely Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
2 / ANSI Very Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
3 / <empty> or Depreciated
4 / ANSI Moderately Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
5 / ANSI Definite Time / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
6 - 9 / <empty> or Depreciated
10 / IEC Very Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
11 / IEC Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
12 / IEC Extremely Inverse / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
13 - 14 / <empty> or Depreciated
15 / IEC Definite Time / IEC 60255-151 (2009-08)
16 / Reserved

it looks like ENUMS #8 should be an ANSI curves. Probably as well #6 and #7 (or are they both IEC and ANSI?). ANSI short time inverse may need to be added (could be added as #0 or using #16).

Need to clarify if we have more cvurves missing before we are proposing a solution
