480 SIML.TmpAlmCreated: 08 Mar 2007 Status: In Force (green) Part: Part 7-4 (2003) Links: Page: 58 Clause: 5.11.4 Paragraph: Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part Issue In Tissue 92 it is proposed to delete SIML.TmpAlm in comparison to SIMG.TmpAlm. But this comparison is wrong. In a gas insulation the density is of interest, and this is physically related to the temperature and the pressure - so Tissue No 91 is ok. But there is not such a realtion in liquids ! In a power transformer, the temperature alarm is a widely used and one of the most important information. A lot of power transformers are even equipped with two redundant mechanical temperature sensors, so we need in practice two instances: SIML.TmpAlm1 and SIML.TmpAlm2
Proposal I strongly recommend to keep TmpAlm in SIML
